Safety Assessment - Reactivity Hazards

Welcome to the self assessment of reactivity for your substance. The following assessment method consists of three parts with questions considering the stability of substances, the compatibility of substance and general handling procedures that can lead to dangerous situations. The assessment was made to raise the safety awareness. It might be very dangerous to use it solely and independently.

Finally, it must be clear that this reactivity assessment can NOT replace a complete risk assessment of external experts. Its aim is to highlight possible hazards and critical elements of the process to the user's attention. The reactivity assessment is considered a responsible approach only if it remains acknowledged by any user, that it cannot completely substitute a full risk analysis, which requires the participation of experts and the use of sophisticated equipment, and to look for expert assistance is advised in case it is recommended or considered necessary. For this reason, the authors refuse any responsibility on any accident derived from the application of the reactivity assessment. Therefore it cannot serve as legal advice to any individual or entity.
