Human reliability analysis

Methods for determining the reliability of human performance in specific tasks. Can be 'qualitative' (describes reliability in words only) or 'quantitative' (estimates the probability of human error in a task).

Certain methods can generate human error probabilities (HEP) for tasks giving an estimate of the chance of a human error. Two such methods are HEART (Human Error Assessment and Reduction Technique) and THERP (Technique for Human Error Rate Prediction).
