Confidential Human Factors Incidents Reporting Procedure (CHIRP)

CHIRP is an acronym for Confidential Human Factors Incidents Reporting Procedure which has been established for a number of the years in the civil aviation sector. This sytem has significant human factor inputs and provides the opportunity for staff to confidentially submit reports on issues or events related to safety.
