Vessel - 1 m?
The 1 m3 explosion vessel is a cylindrical vessel of 0,97 m I.D. and a length of 1,05 m, capable to withstand a maximum static overpressure of 20 bar. The front of the vessel is closed by a door, the rear by a blind flange. If necessary the blind flange can be replaced by other flanges to enable the testing of bursting disks, vent covers etc. The vessel is operated at room temperature. The 1 m3 explosion vessel is used to determine such explosion characteristics of flammable dust-air mixtures as maximum explosion overpressure, maximum rate of pressure rise or dust explosion constant Kst, lower explosion limit and minimum oxygen concentration for an explosion.
