Laboratory process / Bench scale process

In the laboratory, a series of measurements can be taken concerning all the mechanisms that are independent of size. This applies in particular to everything related to thermodynamics and chemical kinetics. Moreover, a good number of physical quantities involved in the model, such as densities, viscosities, specific heats, phase equilibriums, etc., must be measured throughout the interval of operating conditions of the process.
