Pilot plant

A pilot plant is an experimental rig, at least a part, which displays operation representative of the part corresponding to it in the industrial plant. Representative operation implies operation that is identical or transposable by using a mathematical model of this part of the unit. The pilot plant thus appears as a tool allowing the simultaneous analysis of the physical and chemical mechanisms.
