Fire extinguishing agents and additions
Chemical substances for fire extinguishing: Water, foam, dry powder, inert gases or other additive chemicals. Agents are always chosen depending on type of fire and the location where it takes place. The way the agents extinguish the fire is by the suppression of one or more of the elements of the fire tetrahedron (suffocation, inerting, cooling, barriers).
