Reactive distillation

A reaction designed to take place in a distillation column, exploiting the capability of distillation to separate products from feedstock and thereby keeping the concentration of the feed components high; conversely, distillation can concentrate reacting species to undesired high levels, inducing a reaction at an undesired location. The reactive distillation is a kind of process to consider when Scale-up of reactions
